Since this is a vigilante group set up, the police can’t move until a proper investigation happens. Of course the media isn’t stopping from destroying the man’s reputation warranted or otherwise.

As much as there needs to be policing of exploitation and predatory behavior, I am suspicious of rogue do-gooder groups like this. This is an important thing to track. I have someone close to me who was abused around that age and when it was investigated by cps, they said he waited too long. I see the damage it caused him reflected in relationship issues, self esteem and so on.
