Good point. I’m the bull-headed type that wouldn’t let that stop me but I can understand their conflict.
Officially there are no athletic scholarships at the Ivy League schools. There are, however “needs based” scholarships and the very real cachet that an degree from one of those institutions brings. Get tossed and you’ll end up at a state school. I know, no big thing? It is if that’s the choice your faced with.
