Try being less sensitive, the comment was meant more in humor then a rebuke.
But really think about it! Applying today’s standards to a situation you didn’t directly experience. Criticizing actions taken to solve a critical national security problem is not too far removed from those who conveniently second guess the Japan atomic bombing as well as other things.
