Have a younger relative who was diagnosed as schizophrenic (hereditary, not my side). He is in a group home currently. He was a danger to his parents and is not allowed to be alone with his mom. His father passed last year.

This is in Ohio, states may differ. You might start with social services.

Weelllll.... that made a thought cross my mind. Have a slightly younger uncle with the same diagnosis. We were pretty close up until his father passed when I noticed a significant change in his demeanor. Unfortunately (and it may well be a blessing in disguise), it continues to this very day.

It would not surprise me if that dummy thought I was going to place him in a group home. That may explain why he hid his mothers death from the rest of the family for a few months. Found that out via the inter-web. Shame on him and his accomplice.
