They don’t hold any statewide offices in Georgia either. And I’m betting there isn’t too much of a difference in the breakdown between Republicans and Democrats in the state Congress.
But, unlike many that cannot see past the end of their noses, I don’t care about the upcoming election in November. I care about 2024. I care about what happens in ‘26 and further down the road, when the number of liberals that have moved into states like Texas and Georgia because the Governors, et al have this fantasy about luring every job away from every Blue state and, subsequently, bringing all their liberal employees with them.
Again, it isn’t about the number of RED, REPUBLICAN counties in Texas when it comes to Governor, Lt Gov, AG, SOS. It’s about numbers. Pure and simple. When the numbers in the big cities start to climb past the numbers in every place else, Texas is done.
I’ll bet the Republican Party in California or Arizona never thought that its respective state would become and trend like they did/are.
As stated before, this poll could be 100% wrong. If it is, awesome. Try looking down the road a few years and see where the state is trending.

Yup. Both Democrats. Those are statewide offices. Both US Senators from Texas are Republicans.
Except Texas used to be reliably Democrat in the big state wide elections like governor etc, until we took over. The tide has been moving against Democrats for decades.
But hey, dream on!
