I have no problem paying $2.99 a pound for Aldi’s corned beef. Grocery stores in our area currently have it at nearly $9 a pound. I don’t recall Aldi’s corned beef being $1.99 pp, but I do recall paying about $3.49 or $3.79 a pound in the past couple of years. I will be glad to pay $3 a pound for their corned beef! Think I’ll get by there tomorrow!
It was done yearly in the weeks leading up to St. Patrick's Day and it was ALWAYS $1.99/lb... until this year.
