At home today, and it’t errie not having Rush in the background.
I got teary-eyed when I heard it was one year today. He was a giant.
I listen to Clay and Buck, but it isn't the same...
Some guys can’t be replaced.
He was certainly one of them.
Thank you so much Rush! Opened my eyes at a young age. God bless you as I will keep fighting the good fight.
I have mentioned previously that when Rush passed away I began organizing all of the podcasts I had downloaded over the decades. I happened to hit play on one from 2007,when Billary was the frontrunner, and Obambi was just a young upstart. I continue to listen in order. Operation Chaos has come and gone. Amazing!
Most of the time each podcast has plenty of timeless wisdom. He is, truly, the Socrates of the Airwaves. I marvel at the way he constructs and explains. As Rush often stated, his mouth cannot keep up with his brain. Every week, time after time, he relates the current events in their historical perspective.
It is also timely since we know Obambi and his minions are really in charge today. In May 2008 Billary is in major trouble, Obambi is babbling without the help of a teleprompter, and McCain is just lame. I am now in early August 2008. Cannot wait for Sarah Palin to come on the scene.
I miss him
I do too. We’re remodeling and I’m getting rid of books, CD’s all that stuff but I still have “See I Told You So” and “The Way Things Ought To Be” and our daughter got me “Rush On The Radio” for my birthday. Think I’ll make a shrine somewhere with all my Rush memorabilia. RIP Dear Rush........;(
The hours from 12 to 3pm will never be the same without Rushbo.
For some reason it feels like it has been more than a year.
I can’t stomach any of the 12-3 guys.
I listen via internet to Chris Plante every morning but that’s it.
Why in the hell they couldn’t find any of Rush’s guest hosts to take his slot is still a mystery to me!
Rush was trying to steal third base. He got caught in a run down. He never made third base....but in a beautiful turn of events he is now safe at home. RIP
Talent returned to God.

Sweet repose, Rush, rest in sweet repose.
Rush was the GREATEST.
He was in a class by himself.
