WINTER HAVEN, Fla. (CBS12) — Police are looking for a woman who walked away from a Florida Walmart store with two televisions in a shopping cart.
The crime is caught on camera Feb. 5 at the store on Cypress Gardens Boulevard in Winter Haven.
Police said the woman went from the electronics section, straight to the front door, where a store worker asked her for a receipt.

The woman just kept walking, and even told the clerk, "You can help me load these up," as she walked toward the door.
A second clerk came over and the woman told him the same thing.

Police said the woman walked up to an awaiting dark gray Toyota Rav4, loaded up the two TVs and a sound bar, and drove away.
Call Crime Stoppers at 800-226-TIPS if you recognize the woman. You'll remain anonymous and could receive a cash reward if your tip leads to an arrest.

I’m surprised that tv makers haven’t installed the software to brick their tvs, if they get stolen. Like Cellphone makers did.
Walmart has been talking about that for over 15 years.

If you cant confront the person, I’d confront the shopping cart. Just run right towards it and get it away from the criminal.
And then if they try to attack you, defend yourself. No one has the right to attack you, especially a criminal.
So they just let the bitch walk out with them.
Apparently no security anywhere in the store. Eat the losses Walmart.
IIRC, one of these super box stores was going to have carts with wheels that can be locked remotely. Of course, paid for by future shoppers.
