Bob Saget's family filed a lawsuit Tuesday attempting to block officials from releasing further information regarding the comedian's cause of death "in order to protect" their "privacy," one of the family's attorneys said.
The lawsuit, which was filed in Orange County and obtained by Fox News Digital, names Orange County Sheriff John Mina and the District Nine Medical Examiner’s Office.
"In order to protect the Saget family’s privacy, today on their behalf, I filed for an injunction to prevent the disclosure of any photographs or videos of Mr. Saget made by the authorities during their investigation," Brian Bieber, an attorney representing the Saget family, told Fox News Digital.
"The facts of the investigation should be made public, but these materials should remain private out of respect for the dignity of Mr. Saget and his family," the statement continued. "It’s very simple — from a human and legal standpoint — the Saget family’s privacy rights outweigh any public interest in disclosure of this sensitive information."
The "sensitive information" includes photographs, as well as video and audio recordings, according to the lawsuit.

Adding that legal filing on top of the unfortunate circumstances at that hotel, I’m now super-confused.
Not wanting everything aired in public doesn’t mean they don’t want something investigated, if it needs to be. Don’t automatically equate the two things.

Looked like somebody hit his head with a baseball bat and then dropped his body on his bed in the hotel room. Did he gamble? Perhaps he owed a bookie some money? Apparently his system was clean so he wasn’t using anything at that point.

i would think if orlando pd thought there was anything odd they’d investigate because he’s high profile, regardless of family words - if they drop the ball they end up looking like keystone cops
plus they can say it all looks good to ghe public, but be doing stuff behind the scenes , this does occur as well

I know nothing about Bob Saget other than a major pervert on the radio in Kansas City “Johnny Dare” on 98.9 claims to be good friends with him. A company I used to do work for always had 98.9 on when I was there and Dare made reference to their friendship many times as well as interviewing him and making reference to their personal friendship.
I would propose that anyone personally associated with Johnny Dare would have to also be a major pervert.
I bet there is much more to come of this.
Johnny Dare is a degenerate hedonistic pervert that daily on his radio show talks about things that would make a prostitute blush, way way worse than Howard Stern use to be.
I don’t blame the family. At some point, they just wish to be left alone with their memories. Left alone to grieve without unauthorized ‘inquiries’ sprouting up like dandelions.
Sort of the opposite of how Vanessa; Kobe’s widow is handling it.
