to the term “Jabbed” or “Jabs” in general. Because it sounds gay.

Of course the term 'jab' is gay. I've always thought that, and the word has never come out my mouth. Not once, not ever.
I notice you skip right by the explanation of why it has become the popular term. Work that hillbilly scrolling finger and go read Easy's explanation. It's spot on, to borrow another gay English term (which I know you like).
Admit it. You're fussing (Texas term) just to fuss. You don't give a rat's ass if people say 'jab'. Tell the truth.
