Vaguely reminds me of the Law & Order episode Nurture from May 4, 1994.

If both her parents were noncustodial, perhaps they lost custody because they were ruled unfit?

However, it was the real mom and the real father who had the girl. I know they were non-custodial, but in today’s litigious world, what does that really mean.

Were they actually abusive to the girl, or did some busybody neighbors come up with constant horrific stories to tell the New York CPS? And having lived in NY, the CPS there is horrific all own their own!

The problem is, you can’t really trust the courts anymore either. It’s interesting that the custodial guardian is not named, not even the Daily Mail has ferreted out that information and it ought to be on the original missing report.

The fact that it remains hidden could indicate that the legal guardian has influence within the system.

Memo: Don’t hide things under the stairs. The cops are on to this trick!

LOL

I’ve now read about five articles on this story and not one of them mentions what is was that caused the parents to lose custody of their biological children.

A very important detail.

As mentioned elsewhere on this thread, I, too, don’t trust the family court system as far as I could throw it.
