I don’t believe you need an excuse. I’ve not been pushing for mandates, either for the vaccine or for masks. I have been arguing against some of the ludicrous fear-mongering narratives, ie, the vaccines are more dangerous than the virus, the vaccines were developed to decimate the world population. I also find it ridiculous to complain about the pharmaceutical companies profiting from the vaccine while ignoring the millions raked in by those pedaling snake oil remedies (see Front Line Doctors). My biggest issue is those trying to convince the unvaccinated to avoid the vaccines by spreading anti-vaccine myths and falsehoods which will result in needless sicknesses, hospitalizations, and deaths.
Personally, I think it’s stupid not to get the vaccines but then I’ve always felt that stupidity is a self-correcting problem.
I’m not an anti-vaxxer. I’m against getting an inadequately tested, novel vaccine that was rushed to market. The average vaccine is approved after 9 years of testing. The Covid vaccines were distributed after a mere 8 months, which is not a sufficient amount of time for my comfort. I also prefer not to be a guinea pig in this “global experiment.”
