It’s no wonder they now let people riot and steal in streets (and murder) without repercussions- hackers have been getting away with their crimes for years now. For life of me I will never understand why hackers aren’t hunted down and prosecuted

“why hackers aren’t hunted down and prosecuted”

The hunt might lead to the doorstep of Deep State agencies....that would be very messy....

Hackers can be very slippery.

You don’t even have to go after the hackers. Anyone who publishes the dox, online or in print, should be prosecuted. Even if not criminally, then at least sued. If I was doxxed, I’d go after anyone who published my name.

why hackers aren’t hunted down and prosecuted

They are sponsored by various governments, including ours.

As long as they keep to approved targets and/or keep up their bribe payments, they are free to operate.

Question, are hackers like this separate from the deep state?

For life of me I will never understand why hackers aren't hunted down and prosecuted.

Because it's hard to prosecute the CIA and the FBI??

"For life of me I will never understand why hackers aren’t hunted down and prosecuted."

And the topic never seems to come up in presidential campaigns. Nobody ever promises to crack down on identity theft and the other crimes associated with hacking. One wonders if this is because too many people in the political world want to benefit from hacking. It's a useful tool if you want to destroy somebody.
