These are GoFundMe funds .... they paid this amount out prior to shutting down the campaign. Evidently, the funds were transferred to a Canadian bank into accounts owned by the Convoy folks .... the bank is is cooperating with the government, froze the accounts & will likely turn the funds over to the government.

GiveSendGo, is in the USA & not subject to Canadian court orders; however, if they transfer any money to a Canadian bank, the money will be seized. So ... they’re working out alternatives.

I heard the same thing. TD turned over their GiveSendGo funds to the authorities. ???

Tallyco.in is a crypto funding site, if you have your own wallet you can transfer it to them(BTC), then they distribute it to private wallets.

This is yet another reason you need crypto in your portfolio, this works around the communist/Borg government types.
