Many, if not most Italian restaurants in Southern California are owned by non-Italians. One that isn't is Basilico's Pasta e Vino in Huntington Beach. If you eat there, you are not allowed to wear a mask and they do not want anyone who is vaccinated against WuFlu to eat there. Tony Roman, its owner may be running for governor this year.

Where I am, the pizzerias and Italian restaurants are run by the Albanians. Close enough, I suppose. Anyway, the idea that you can’t teach a Dane the techniques and recipes of Chinese cooking is just silly. Sounds more like a leadership problem.

When my ship came into San Pedro there was a true Italian restaurant I loved to go to. It was upscale. The neighborhood changed and they left just about the time I no longer went to that port.

That’s just as dumb as forcing people to vaccinate, freedom goes both ways.... want to get the vaccine, fine, don’t want to, fine. That’s how it should be.
