Is there any differentiation between 85+ who died of COVID or with COVID?

Generally, 85+ are loaded with comorbidities.

The desperate hope by folks that the virus is not killing people really can’t be fueled by the comorbidity game.

The issue is this. A diabetic 86 year old with high blood pressure was living life just fine until Covid arrived. Then blood oxygen began to fall and then cratered, and . . . dead.

It’s just not going to hold water to imagine the person who died that week was going to die that week anyway.

They typical 85 yr old has life expectancy of 6 years. The typical 85 yr old has comorbidities, but still 6 yrs. Covid chopped 5.9 years off.
