This sounds plausible. I have blood pressure on the low side, and sometimes when I get up at night, I have to do it slowly or I get dizzy. I’ve had a few episodes where I’ve fallen — one fairly recently where I cracked my mouth and head. That night I had imbibed a little too much bourbon and had taken a Benadryl before bed. I went straight back to bed after I regained consciousness and looking back on it, I probably shouldn’t have. It scared the crap out of my wife.
Sounds like Saget may have had an episode similar to that.

We work under bridge decking to check Barn Swallow nests. Can’t count the number of times a hard hat has saved my head from striking a beam. It’s easier to do than I thought.
