You’re the one who seems upset with the divorce laws, presumably in your state. It would be for you to propose any changes there.
As I am guessing you know it used to be much more difficult to get a divorce in most states. There may be merit to dialing things back at least somewhat closer to what things were then, though I think the outlet of looser rules in Nevada IIRC was important for many people back then too.
