Many young men aren’t marrying/breeding anymore because the patriarchy kept THEM in check/saddled with responsibilities. Many women miss “the patriarchy” but aren’t allowed to openly say so.
It still does. Get a woman pregnant, pay for life. Whereas the woman can abort, or divorce you and keep the children while living with another man. (But you must still pay for child support, even as the other man raises your kids.)
In the old days, the patriarchy imposed responsibilities on men, but also gave them benefits. If a mother ran off with another man, she lost her children. Father had full custody.
Today, the patriarchy imposes responsibilities on men, but no reciprocal benefits. Whereas the patriarchy continues to protect and support women, while refusing to impose any responsibilities on them.
Can't blame young men for MGTOW.
