Two years in, I still don't know anyone who has died of Covid. The people I know who had Covid and survived were a mix of vaccinated and unvaccinated. All but one had minor symptoms resembling a common cold or flu, although one (my youngest daughter) has had a lingering effect on her sense of taste and smell.

As for adverse reactions, my other daughter had the worst headache of her life and my ex-wife had one of the worst migraine headaches of her life within a day of vaccination.

My girlfriend talked to a shop owner who personally knew two nurses with serious effects, one involving paralysis, the other involving strange distortions of bodily image.

Two 60ish men I know died of heart attacks in the summer of 2021, but I didn't know them well enough to know their vaccine status. Both men were reasonably active for their age.

I know one person from work from a ways back. Think friends of friends. I also know a couple of people who says they had multiple family members dying of vax. So idk. My dad is having new heart/lung issues since his second shot. Didn’t stop him from getting the third. No looking at getting valve replacement. I hope it’s random chance. He is / was a very heathy man.
