A motorcyclist who was apparently performing stunts in a Santa Clarita mall parking structure died after flying over the handlebars and falling several floors, officials said Monday.
The victim was only described by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department as being female.
The incident occurred at the parking structure of the Westfield Town Center in Santa Clarita.

I’ve seen a lot of videos of these motorcycle antics. I think it’s like “Hold my EBT card and fire up your Obama phone”.
The woman was believed to be learning to ride the motorcycle from her friends when she fell off the parking garage.Looks like this might be a tragedy and not an amateur stunt-hack.

Best way to learn is on a dirtbike in the wide open spaces. You can still die, but its a lot harder.

The thing is, the Darwin Awards are a form of gallows humor and rank right up there in inappropriateness with "little moron jokes" and "crazy bow-legged Chinese rhymes." Because of that, anyone that wants to constrain them with rules is on a "fool's errand."
Well, the website did exactly that. Given that the “awards” started on newsgroups as far back as 1985, I can certainly dig deeper into it and see if the purported website is trying to change things from what they were originally.
