The United States Olympic Team.
“He’s never given up,” says Zach Redmond, a college teammate of Nagle’s at Ferris State University who now plays pro hockey in Germany. “He’s always had a good attitude about it and worked hard and he’s finally getting the break he deserves.”
“Nowadays, there’s not a guy on the ice that can’t score on you,” Nagle says. “I’ve had to learn and make adjustments. You’re going to be out of the game if you’re not willing to improve and adapt.”
“You go from being the young guy to the old guy pretty quick,” he says. “That’s part of life, to be honest. Once you get on the ice, everyone’s just a kid playing hockey.”
“As a goalie, things change quickly,” he says.
They sure do. Nagle’s been an Everblade, a Crunch, a Steelhead, a Komet, a Comet, an American, a Griffin, a Walleye, a Royal and a Phantom.
