BREAKING: GiveSendGo fundraiser for Canadian truckers fighting for freedom reaches $2 MILLION A single donor gave $215,000 as the world rallies behind the Canadian truckers fighting for freedom.
Despite some attempts to DDoS GiveSendGo and prevent the crowdfund from working, the site has managed to provide stable hosting for the crowdfund which has now received over $2 million in donations. As detailed by Human Events host Jack Posobiec, donors are contributing large amounts of money to support the movement, with one donating as much as $215,000. A single donor just gave $215,000 to the Truckers fundraiser

It burns me up. The same thing happened at my a Navy ship Fakebook page. It starts with a few noticeable deletes and before you know it, goes full woke.

I hope the reason for the message is that thousands of folks are trying to login and make their voices heard via their pocketbook.
I’m sorry, but our policy is and has always been no solicitations, no third party fundraising on FR and the mods routinely pull such links. This is not new.
I would not have found out about the trucker convoy without free republic.
It’s ok to support both freerepublic and the trucker initiative on gsg

The whole thread is a solicitation. Posting the accurate link is not a request for donations, it is information critical to the story. It is part of the story. No one here asked anyone to donate and nobody here is profiting from posting the link.

GoFundMe says the Freedom Convoy 2022 fundraiser “is now in violation of our Terms of Service (Term 8, which prohibits the promotion of violence and harassment) and has been removed from the platform.”
Statement: “We now have evidence from law enforcement that the previously peaceful demonstration has become an occupation, with police reports of violence and other unlawful activity. no further funds will be directly distributed to the Freedom Convoy organizers"

I hate to jump the gun, but…..
It’s going to be real interesting to see if all of this money being dispersed in a fair and equitable process, where it actually goes toward its intended purpose.
As opposed to the typical, liberal non-profit or charity, where 90% goes to administrative costs, salaries and other miscellaneous expenses.
