I know it sounds like it shouldn’t work. But it really did work and continues to work for me, 2 years clear of stones. Previously, I had a 16 mm stone broken into 2,3,& 4mm stones, then 2 & 3 mm stones.
The lady who told me about this has a sister who was 8 months pregnant at the ER with excruciating pain which they diagnosed as kidney stone, and told her there was nothing they could do for her at that point. The lady had her take berberis, and it relieved her pain and eventually took care of the stones. There are other friends who have gotten similar relief.
When pain is so intense, you become open to trying what looks like a ridiculous option. I am truly thankful that I tried it and it worked for me : )
