—”Morton Arboretum is a cool place.”

My late father-in-law thoroughly enjoyed the place, later from his wheelchair and lastly from the car.

And if you have a tree question, they have been most helpful.

We live in a former farmhouse that came with pear, apple cherry, mulberry, plumb... trees. after a few years, they suddenly started to die in groups?

My wife called the Arboretum, they said to take photos and bring samples of the limbs.

They said they were planted in groups and fruit trees tend to have a fixed life span.

Sadly my wife colluded with a woman from the electric utility and they had a PRO HIT CREW take out my friend Mrs. Mulberry.
They did it for free because she was moving in on their territory. They could have just whacked her a bit, but no...

About 30 inches across at the base, a huge operation.
Now I see neighbors I never knew existed.

Sorry about the mulberry. I make a damned good mulberry jam when I can find them.
