About half my family is of Russian ancestry. My grandmother was from the old country. The key to understanding Russians is that they are drama queens. Once you know that, lots of things fall into place.
Of course, they are tough too....but still drama queens. The two things are not mutually exclusive.
truth!! My son in law in Russian and his mom, sister and niece are straight up drama queens. ( he is too in a way)
