As the old Folgers ad used to quote their founder, John Arbuckle, as saying, “You get what you pay for.”

Thanks to Commiecrats and RINOs colluding in the deceptively named Patriot Act, to virtually eliminate the 4th Amendment in airports, government buildings, and 100% of all our electronic communications don’t expect anything to be totally secure.
Our government is no longer controlled by We The People.
ProtonMail, Proton VPN ProtonDrive for the win. Their focus is security and privacy.
hushmail.com
safe-mail.net
are two I know of but I cannot vouch for the security of their service.
I’m on the Protonmail bus too but will warn you that if you’re ever prosecuted for a federal crime you will also be charged with using an “encrypted communications system”. Same goes for WhatsApp and, perhaps, a landline instead of cellular communications. If you take the time to learn semaphore or Morse code that’s a sure sign you’re a domestic terrorist.
Big brotha can’t get at the sites mentioned?
Count me as another vote for Proton mail.

If you want secure communications go with carrier pigeons.
Otherwise, fuggedaboutit!
protonmail.com. It comes with a free basic VPN.
protonmail.com is free, encrypted.
Yep, Protonmail. I like how the email form features work. You can add attachments embedded “inline” like when creating a post in a forum. So they render on the other end without the receiver having to click the attachments. They show up inline along with the text. It is actually a pretty cool feature hard to find elsewhere. Free version gives you 500 Mb of storage. That is quite a bit if you keep it cleaned up. You will however get a couple safe spams a week from Proton themselves wanting you to upgrade to premium.
