One... There is no evidence yet that these were “stolen”.
Two. They were not transported or shipped anywhere.

They are found goods and have not left Florida.

If the rightful owner comes forward to file a claim... then the story changes.

This is no different than finding a $100 bill on the ground.

Yeah, I’m aware of your nannyisms.

From my home page

___________________________________________________________________ I’ve been pro-gun since I realized it was a right protected in our 2nd amendment, since I was a child.

I was gonna start building a gun collection in the 1980s. But then I saw this movie scene when Red Dawn came out. A chilled hush ran through the theatre.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3OaF-j8x5Vc

I thought about that movie for 3 days. I decided I would never be on anyone’s list of gun owners.

I was vindicated in this decision when a Newspaper sparked outrage for publishing names, addresses of gun permit holders
https://www.cnn.com/2012/12/25/us/new-york-gun-permit-map/index.html

And my decision was once again vindicated in the town I live in — San Jose, CA passed law requiring gun owners to get liability insurance

You are guilty of violating a federal crime.”

I may be in violation of a federal criminal statute, but who isn’t these days?

The DoJ and FBI can go and asexually reproduce.

“Who said the rifles were involved in “interstate or foreign commerce”? Even the authorities admitted they’ll have difficulty assessing the origins of these firearms.”

Tennessee to Florida is interstate.

The two rifles are now property of the ATF (serial numbers removed).

The act of stamping the numbers into metal changes the metal structure underneath stampings.

The serial numbers will be chemically recovered to find the origin and transferre to dealer and any buyer.

These guys didn't remove the serial numbers... So this does not apply.

Not very pro-2A are you...

I know...

However, these two are idiots for opening their mouths to begin with. The way prosecutors are these days, they be lucky if some democrat appointee doesn’t charge them with “constructive intent” or some other bs...

I know.

And?

These two did not purchase them from Barrett. They found them in a Florida river. Absent someone else to come forward with a lost/stolen claim... they are found goods.

If the serial #’s are filed off, the ATF has them already.

Are you sure you know what you are doing?
