I mean if you have a great head coach, would you not hire him, just because he’s black? Really? That’s just stupid.
Maybe these guys aren’t as good as they think they are. It takes a lot more to be a good head coach than just being a good coordinator. You are more the CEO, than the X’s and O’s guy. Your job as a head coach is to manage the X’s and O’s guys.
And if you have a reputation of infighting with your GM, it's a tough interview with a GM.
