A person does not changes their stripes so late in life. He was calling for a “revolution” because the 2012 election was decided in the manner laid out in Article II Section 1 of the U.S. Constitution. Sorry, he is not a conservative. He will say and do whatever he thinks serves him best at the moment.
Then based on that, he must have been a conservative the whole time, because he did not govern as a non-conservative while in office. It’s easy for career politicians to lie prior to being elected—but Trump told the truth and kept his promises.
You can say “sorry, he is not a conservative” based on . . . whatever, but actions speak louder than words. Sorry, but he proved to me he’s a conservative by his actions; not a perfect one but a strong one.
And don’t get fooled by fake tweets, please.
Did Trump do it say anything while President that was different than what he promised when he campaigned? Was there anything he did while president that wasn’t conservative or in line with what conservatives wanted?
