In the “olden days” of FR, there were the occasional bug-zapper threads where a few people would ride the lightning.
There was a legendary thread during the 2007 GOP primaries where a whole lot of people who supported Rudy Giuliani were either zotted or they opused. I was working overseas nine times zones away so I missed the whole thing.
There was still some debris left when I logged on in the morning.
I still see references to that thread today. (And now there’s this one. LOL)
I’m a noob, joined up in 2015.
I thought the blow ups between the Trump and Cruz camps were rowdy, many Opused out in those months, a few zotted.
It seems the 2007 primary was even worse. I’ll give Jim Robinson one thing, when he takes a stand he doesn’t back down.
