We used to have a great guy on FR, Doctor Raoul...sadly, he has passed on.

But when I used to hang out with the DC Chapter of Free Republic, I would see him at the protests, and he would wear his Halliburton ball cap...just the sight of it was like waving a red flag in front of the Leftists...they would nearly froth at the mouth!

And he was fearless. He would engage them and wade right in as he was doing here in this picture above.

I really admired him.

Dr. Raoul and the DC chapter brings up memories from the late 1990s to early Bush years. When freepers were a delightful P.I.T.A. to Democrats in DC.

Over the last few months, I have been looking up people I knew about and finding out they all passed on. Not a happy camper about it.

Is the DC chapter still "Freeping" anymore, or is that long gone?
