From my limited 1st hand experience actually working in a Hosp. albeit a small one...

One of the worse comorbidities is obesity. Because in my opinion...People that are obese are very likely to have other problems that maybe have not been diagnosed..

Like CHF, compressive lung issues...Kidney issues...etc...

Had a guy..that had the COVID..prolly when he shipped to us...but that's debatable.

This guy weighed like 99 lbs. I kid you not....You would think a guy like that would not survive this....He did....

Funny you should mention this... my elderly FIL is rehabbing at home after surgery and one of the visiting nurses is very large, at least 300lbs. His first visit he told us to all mask up because we weren’t vaccinated - but we have all been exposed to covid many times, FIL especially, and if we had it, it was not more than a head cold.

The nurse is genuinely scared of us, and sadly (I can never tell him this of course), he is a lot more at risk from his weight than from us.
