to acknowledge someone is a dwarf, midget, giant, or ‘normal’ is to acknowledge their creation.
it is not detrimental to say someone is short if they are. to mention someone is black, white, handicapped, disabled, or whatever descriptive term would be used to describe their person. it’s literally a fact.
to say anything else is to say their physical structure somehow lessens them as a person and we shouldn’t mention it as that could offend them.
the act of dancing around their physicality has the opposite intention... it says they are less and people are trying to be ‘nice’ by using euphuisms in place of proper language.
yet again, democrats and the left promote actions with more detrimental effects than beneficial
Norm MacDonald was on the Conan O’Brien show and tells a midget joke. Conan corrects him and says “little people”. Norm calls Conan out on it and explains it similar to how you did. (It wouldn’t surprise me if Norm told Conan to “correct” him to set up the joke).
But then Norm proceeds to tell the joke, and of course is based on their height. (I thought it was really funny though.) Easy enough to link - but I won’t. ;)
