MPs are starting to file into the House of Commons ahead of a statement by Prime Minister Boris Johnson at 15:30 GMT.
Johnson will comment on the initial findings of Sue Gray’s inquiry, which was published by the UK government a short time ago.
Following the statement, expect MPs to grill Johnson over the report’s findings and the separate ongoing inquiry by the Metropolitan Police.
Stay tuned for what could be a significant moment for the future of Johnson’s premiership.

Sacked in the morning
You’re getting sacked in the morning
Sacked in the mooooorning
You’re getting sacked in the morning
I’d like to see that same procedure for our political “leaders” here in the USA.
Except if you are a member of the Democrat Party in the US.
Can’t have him rescinding vaxxine mandates…
Boris promises “changes” to how Number 10 and the Cabinet office works.
He says the police investigation is on going.
Codes of conduct will be revised.
Boris is saying he got the UK through COVID faster than any other comparable nation and restored freedoms
No chance of something like this happening here.
The Swamp protects its own.
Leader of the opposition says it is clear from the report that Boris is under criminal investigation.
Sadly this guy Johnson and for that matter Britain itself are just not right.
Leader of the opposition:
“He is taking us for fools”
“He is now hiding behind a criminal investigation into his office”
“He won’t resign because he’s a man without shame!”
Boris just said the leader of the opposition as a former chie prosecutor spent most of his time failing to prosecute Jimmy Saville (a celebrity who was a pedo)
Ouch.
It’s not that complicated. The powerful have the attitude of “Rules for Thee but not for Me” and he got caught. To make matters much much worse, the video of government officials at the party, mocking the little people for having to comply with the mandates.
I agree. Prime minister “Question Time” before Parliament is an eye-opening event that can shine a light on executive branch and legislative branch impropriety.
He needs to GO
Is he being sacked because he is bad or because he isn’t bad enough?
It looks like he got through this for now.
He is remaining defiant and promising to implement changes.
Who knows if it’s good enough to save him
He goes to a party and gets fired over it while we have real traitors like the clintons, obamas, bidens, pelosi, feintsteins and on and on that are still in power and not in jail!
Thanks for posting the link.
Fascinating proceedings.
Wish the leaders here were subject to such direct questioning.
