eh ... OK. The big deal here is it was caught on camera.


Back last August I was walking the dog (a 9 lb Shih Tzu) at 10PM and startled a bear in a neighbors yard. He ran about 15 feet then stopped and apparently thought to himself, wait a minute, I'm a freakin' bear, what am I running from. So he turned around and stood on his hind legs while he made his decision on his next move. He stared at me, I stared at him ... and then he probably thought what the hell animal has a halogen light in the middle of his forehead (I use a headlamp when I walk at night), so he slowly started to back away, and so did I.

Now I carry a 45 when I walk the dog.
