It is the most talented blacks and women who are fought over by employers—and promoted way above their abilities and competence.
Very few are smart enough to turn down the promotions.
(Anecdote: I got an MBA from a university with a very strong reputation. I had many interesting job interviews just prior to graduation. One was an investment management firm. They were trying to recruit me, and explained that the job would be very exciting since I would be managing billions of dollars of assets from day one. I looked the interviewer in the eyes and said “I am not qualified to do that—and you should not risk your clients funds like that.”)

Every black person in a position of authority or influence is there due to affirmative action, not their abilities, and I’m through pretending otherwise.
