Thank you, and while I really like this idea, honestly, I have to say it’s how I’ve coped for over 30 years in the Midwest. I do most all of these things already. Seriously, it’s not too bad for me some months.
I get depressed in September once we have our first crisp day of the season, then some after Christmas knowing that it will be mid May before I can start my planting season in earnest. I’m not tired of the snow and cold as much as I am the lack of sunshine.
Sometimes I think I’m like the plants that require full sun. I can grow in the shade or partial sun, but I thrive in high sunlight. I know that’s weird, but sometimes that’s how I feel. Still, I thank you for the link to article. It helped me see how others cope. I appreciate that!
I’ve been to Denmark in the winter. Absolutely gorgeous people there. Both men and women. And they drink Akvavit. Not horrible. They seemed quite upbeat.
