Despite her many achievements, she sounds unfulfilled by them for some reason. She didn’t give herself more time to gain perspective on what she needed to feel content in life rather than empty.

My sister in law was diagnosed as bi-polar and she did, indeed, commit suicide.

I'm sorry for your loss. My bi-polar brother in law did as well a little over a week ago.

People who received these drugs had more suicide thoughts than the placebo group. There were more suicides among people who took these drugs than in the placebo group. A long term study found that people who rejected mind drugs have better lives than those who took them.

Add school mass shooters to that RX for demise.

Concerning the OP’s post, a well-to-do friend was given such meds and “professional” shrink advice. Completely hollowed him out, his eyes went from full of life to dull and empty. One night he went home, killed his wife of decades, and then killed himself.

Poison they are, death they do bring.

“Seeing a therapist” and taking mind drugs are common.
People who received these drugs had more suicide thoughts than the placebo group.
________

MY guess too. Her psyche meds got her to commit suicide
