Even the fastest charging cars need at least 15 minutes to recoup a meaningful amount of range - even longer if you want to charge your battery to the 80% mark.

Meaning if this is our future we'll need four to five times as many 'gas stations' as we have now.

Maybe only 3 or 4 times since a fair number of folks can charge at home for their daily commuting. But interstate travel is another story. The Teslachargers are already swamped on holiday times.

Perhaps if everyone totally relied on public charging stations.

260 miles per week and you can easily charge at home from a cheap thin extension cord.
