you you have an old panel, consider a replacement anyway. My son is a Master Electrician. He regularly replaces Federal Pacific panels that are in recall.

https://safeandsoundelectric.com/2021/03/17/the-hazards-of-federal-pacific-electrical-panels/

Also, you can add an another panel to your service, for a garage, etc.

Not an issue...if your home is 20+ years old you probably need to replace the panel.

Also, walk around your house and place your hand on the outside of each plug outlet (wall) and on each switch outlet. If they are warm, replace them before the fire starts.

Great idea! And I’ve got a laser heat gun so that will be easy.

I do not buy Fords either. Or any UAW product.

Of course it’s a 4 day charge on 110v.

“Technically you can connect your Tesla to a standard 110v plug but it’s about as practical as refilling a gas car’s tank with an eye dropper.”

“Just checked GasBuddy and there are 27 gas stations within 3 miles of my house that I can access.”

Not believable.

I live in outer suburban Indiana and it shows 14 within 5 miles.

“I live in outer suburban Indiana and it shows 14 within 5 miles.”

I live in outer suburban Florida and it shows 4 within 5 miles.

OTOH, I can charge batteries in my garage. Six EV charging stations within 5 miles.

99.9% of daily driving is short distance which only needs a top-off each night while the owner is sleeping.

For an eight-hour overnight charge, this will enable traveling around 36 to 40 miles, which is great for people who drive less than 50 miles (80 km) a day. Most electric vehicle owners find that this meets their needs perfectly and allows them to conveniently charge their EV at home without any changes or upgrades.

Might be helpful if they were near the car.

Just one per car.

Around here you can easily spend $100.00 per month for a parking space and $500.00 in Chicago and way more for inside.

A popular strategy is to do just that and top off as needed on a weekend at a fast-charger.

If the area includes Des Moines proper.

Des Moines has level 2 chargers in parking garages. No cost.
