The Kingdom of Heaven.

As Christians, God has translated us from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of the light of His dear Son. Jesus had a source of love so powerful that He went on His journey seeking out those who were most oppressed by the devil and injured and freed and healed them all.

Once, He went to a man who was so tormented by devils that he went mad and lived naked in the tombs. Upon encountering him, Jesus commanded the demons to come out. In response they said they were a legion and begged not to be sent into the abyss before the time. Jesus sent them into a herd of pigs and being possessed, a frenetic frenzy drove them down a hill over a cliff into the water; when pigs fly! The Gentiles got a free pork parade swimming to them! Once the man was free, he was clothed and in his right mind.

Another time Jesus came to a woman at the well; she had put her hopes for being loved in people. But Jesus, the Creator, knew her inner need for love and acceptance. He told her that He was the water from heaven. That she was to draw her life supplying need from him.

In the Old Testament, when Daniel prayed for help, right away an angel named Micheal was sent to him but the principality over that area, the “prince of Persia” hindered him. When he got to Daniel, he gave him a vision that was to amazing for him. I imagine Daniel thinking “I should pass out about now”.

When Jesus performed miracles, the devil saw his plan to harm and destroy being threatened, so he stirred up hatred among the Jews. When Jesus was on trial, Pontius Pilate asked, “why, what evil has he done?” Jesus was scoured by a whip tipped with stones that tore open His back; He was taking the direct force of the wrath of God for mankind's sin. When, with the brutality of the Roman soldiers who mocked and beat him, He could have called down a legion of angels to deliver Himself, but His love for the lost condition of those men overcame that darkness and He endured.

When the disciples asked Jesus if He was going to restore the kingdom of Israel at that time, He replied, “it is not given to you to know the times and authority of God”. When nations rage and imagine vain things and try to break the bonds and borders that they are meant to occupy and when the human rights are horribly abused and people will not work or farm to produce food, when there is no pride of ownership.; then there is great risk of increased turmoil and war and famine. In our sojourn, we are told that we will have troubles; but the moment you pray, angels are being sent to protect you, and like Daniel, we should keep praying, expecting help to arrive.

Before Jesus ascended, (to sit at the right hand of the throne of God, having paid the price for mankind's sin) He told his disciples that He would send down the Holy Spirit, that He would be a comforter who stands beside you when you are troubled and that He would teach them deep things about God. He would give them the peace of God and rest, fellowship and joy.

We ought not “worry”, which means “to divide”. We really fear about being in pain; Jesus told us to not worry about the future, that we are to live each moment of the day in the full abundance of life and that our journey is to be spent absorbing the wonder and light of creation. We are to take time getting full of our heavenly privileges, being full of light and love; being able to call on angels to protect us. As God's children, we are to bind up the principality's over our country and to remember that “whatever you bind on earth, heaven will also bind”. America should be full of praying people; who cleanse the air over our land and call on the Lord for help. It is written “When my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray, then I will hear from heaven, and heal their land”.

There is no “Throne” of God. Throne is translated, power, reign. Jesus told us that he and the Father are one. He doesn’t sit next to the Father, He is the Father

Prince of Persia, The serpent in Eden, demons, Satan, the Devil, are metaphorical for the evil of mankind.

God is not a God of wrath or punishment. God did not punish his Son on the cross for our sins; God took on the form of man and became the final sacrifice for all sins. Big difference

basileia: kingdom, sovereignty, royal power.
Jesus told us the Kingdom is in us. We are the temple. The Holy of Holy dwells in us. Along with the ”Advocate” who would lead us in all truth he also told us, 19Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. 20On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.
We call him Father, yet we don’t recognize the power in us as his sons. Read about what the term “son” really meant in the Jewish culture. You’ll then see why the teachers of the law hated him.

If you are reaching out to a separated God to hear your prayers, you are missing the mark. Jesus told us to ask, believe that it is done and it would be done. The answer to our prayers is determined by our faith, not hope.

Jesus talked to the world in parables; The bible uses metaphors. The Spirit in us will guide us to what it’s trying to teach us
