My Wife and I combined use 55 gallons per day. Not a problem - we don’t water our lawn in Indiana.

We live outside the city and have Septic System. Our Water Softener cycles after 600 gallons usage so we have an accurate account of water used.

we do water our lawn and garden heavily in the summer....the grass would be brown by May if we didn't it...we live in a semi arid area and the rains usually stop in June, sometimes earlier....

having said that, we try not to waste anything....growing green things and having a lawn helps in fire control...plus plants absorb CO2....we try to limit our clothes washing, our dish washing, and even try to take brief showers...no hot tub nor pool....
