I was in the UPS store yesterday (Silicon Valley town, California) without my mask. The two people at the counter didn’t have a problem. After a while, a young lady came from the back room and asked “Sir, do you have a mask?”
I replied “Yes.” I had the mask sitting on the counter.
She replied “Can you put it on?”
I asked her “Why?”
She said “It’s a California state law.” Upon which I instructed her that NO LAW was ever passed requiring people to wear masks.
The depth of ignorance is astonishing. (I put the damned thing on)
