I learn so much on this thread! I’ll bring over some stuff I saw on another thread about elderberry. Supposed to be an immune booster and decongestant/cough reliever. We used to have our own wild elderberries growing by what is now the barn so they have been gone since 2000! Would like to get some plants and plant them nearby, would like my own supply. Would like to figure out which is the best variety to grow. I was surprised to see so many sources for elderberry syrup, capsules, cough drops, etc.
Love that basil picture.
Already take echinacea and tumeric supplements. Our sunlight is limited so growing a lot of herbs does not work out well.

I will have to follow that link and see what lavender does. We started a lot of it last year and it’s doing well. Also I ate a lot of dandelion salad growing up, always in the spring with the young leaves. My grandmother was well known for a poultice from a common weed, I am thinking pigweed?? No way to find out now.
