Back in the late 70’s the AFC championship came down to the Oilers and the Steelers. Games were usually in Pittsburg in late December. One year, the Oilers lost by a very close score. They flew home to Houston and arrived at the airport late. They were greeted by thousands of fans on the tarmac cheering their team as they got off the plane.

Miss those days.

Too bad the Oilers were the second best team in the NFL back then. Unfortunately they played in the same division as the Steelers.

Rams and Chiefs. Home team winners.
