I do but not in a Tx chili cook off, “yer chili sucks for many reasons...”

I can either cook Texas Red or add beans. Since I have five children with all the associated “others” that show up for dinner, I add beans. “Others” being grandchildren, fiancés, boyfriends, etc.

Ain’t putting beans in chili a hanging offense in most of the state?
Texas is touchy about it’s chili and barbeque. Don’t ask how I know. : / )
