I don’t blame him. Who wants to get hit by 300lb defensive linemen in their 40’s?
He’s been mediocre at best the last 2/3 years. Plus he’s a rapist so it will be good to see him go.
Q: “Who wants to get hit by 300 lb defensive linemen in their 40’s?”
A: Tom Brady
I predict the Steelers will draft Kenny Pickett, from Pitt, and he’s going to turn out to be their next great QB.
Anybody remember the rape situations (plural) early in Ben’s career...?
I recall that Big Ben paid off both girls with out of court settlements...
Those events have receded into the quiet woodwork of NFL history...
If these assaults had happened in today’s social environment, there would likely be no HOF chance for Big Ben...we shall see what happens in 5 years...?
Quality QB who won a couple of Super Bowls. Never the guy you’d point to as the best in the league or even one of the top two or three, but the dropoff from him to Mason Rudolph and Dwayne Haskins will be steep.
Is that worse than getting hit by 300lb linemen in their 20s? I figure 300lb linemen would hurt no matter what their age was. (bada-bing!)
wonder who biden will nominate to be the next quarterback...
Do you have info that he is indeed a rapist?

Hopefully a black woman.
Great career. 2 Super Bowl Championships. We’ll miss you Ben!
God help the Steelers if Biden gets to appoint his replacement too.
What do you call a woman who says she was sexually assaulted and the settles for an NDA and a bunch of cash?
After being accused of raping a woman in a Lake Tahoe hotel room in 2008, that case was settled out of court in January 2012. Then, in 2010, a college student alleged that Roethlisberger raped her in a bathroom stall at a Georgia nightclub. Criminal charges were not pursued against Roethlisberger and the Baldwin County district attorney said at the time that they “don’t have enough evidence to prosecute.” Still, Roethlisberger was suspended by the NFL for six games for violating the NFL’s Personal Conduct Policy, though that suspension was later reduced to four games.
Roethlisberger was never charged with any crimes but the allegations were very much part of his reputation after that. However, Ben and the Steelers put space between him and those headlines with sustained winning on the field and a legacy that tied him to one of the most storied franchises in the NFL.

I can’t think of the word for someone who knows they are outlawyered and exacts what little punishment they can. Doesn’t mean Michael Jackson was innocent, either.
He was great on the field. But that rape accusation from way back when hangs over him IMHO.
I hope you're right. But... will he be available for the Steelers to draft?! It's a weak draft for QBs this year. Pittsburgh needs a QB as Mason Rudolph has demonstrated he is not the answer.
Were I Brady i’d rather play rough with Giselle instead of 300+ pound lineman.
Reminder that Jim Plunkett and Eli Manning both got 2 SBs too, and they're not in the HOF.
