My own brother, a tragic Democrat, texted my wife and asked if we were vaxxed. My brother has an annual Super Bowl party and apparently the unvaxxed are not welcome. I’ll be skipping the party.
Not crazy.

I asked her how long I was supposed to stay home, and she said she doesn't know the protocols, but since I had not gotten tested, I should just assume I have it and am contagious (indefinitely, it seems!!).
Same sister has traveled all over the country over the past 2 years, at least 4 or 5 long driving trips of a week to 2 weeks at a time.
Said her step-daughter, who is still running a fever with her Covid after 3 weeks, is cleared to go out in public, since she isolated at home for “the prescribed time”. I asked what was the “prescribed time”, and was told it was whatever her doctor had advised.
My sister-in-law had a Christmas party, we were told to bring proof of vaccine or a covid test performed in the last 2 days. We didn’t go. This covid scare is a trial run to see how far the country complies.
I got a sister like that. Haven’t spoken to her in a year and that’s the first thing she asked. I’m getting to the point where I’m just going to BS people and say I’ve been triple vaccinated just to shut them the hell up.
My answer would be no response or “none of your d@mn business.” Even to a family member.
Nobody has asked me that yet. A (masked) woman who struck up a conversation with me about two months ago was trying to by telling me *she* was vaxxed and going on about why, (and why she had a mask on) blah, blah, blah…At one point she said “I don’t know if you’re vaccinated or not…”

I think it bugged her that she struck up a conversation and I didn’t acknowledge her mask? I didn’t bring up any of that tiresome cr@p.
You’ll have more fun watching the Super Bowl elsewhere, I’m sure.
