A close friend of mine is an import/export broker. He just completed a large shipment of bitcoin miners from Singapore. He assumes that his customer plans to use them himself because they were all headed to Eastern Washington where electrical power is the cheaper than anywhere else in the country.

One guy did. I am not sure if another found a block, but last I heard it was one guy.

With the problems in Kahzakstan (or however it is spelled) last month, small operators had a short period when their rigs took up some slack.

I would not be running out to spend $5k on an antminer (or however much they cost. I am sure my electric bill could not survive that!)

I’m thinking OK I can get started with something around the price of a Rasberry Pi but when you read on you see the rig starts out at an estimated 10 grand. Bummer.

Crypto will kill big G and the DNC.

Expect to see a full court press by the DNC, MSM, Hollywood to do all they can to dissuade people from crypto.

Their argument will be that crypto is bad for the environment and kills baby seals.

What’s nice to see is that there is now going to become a separation between young progressives and the DNC over crypto, web three. Oh, NFTs and play to earn games.
